Double Bass Jazz - Level 2 is the next step. Here we are grooving with eighth-notes and using most of the range of the bass, but staying away from thumb position.
The music in this level may seem difficult for a level 2 categorization. This is what I think of as straight ahead jazz. The solos are like PC at 60% of the normal tempo.
Level 2 seems to be most people’s favorite jazz - swinging!
